Outreach programs set XSEDE apart
Diptorup Deb, a computer science graduate student at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, first heard about the XSEDE (Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment) student engagement program from a group email on one of UNC's research computing distribution lists. Keenly interested in parallel computing, he knew this was a deadline he wouldn't miss.
